Housing Opportunities Receives Grant in 2015

Housing Opportunities is a local non-profit offering services to the homeless, disabled, and those at-risk of homelessness in Porter & LaPorte counties. Their mission is to empower families and individuals by providing housing solutions and customizing client support services that foster self-reliance. Caroline Shook, Housing Opportunities CEO, shared, "Lakeside Wealth Management has reached an exciting level of support for HO as our first Believer Level Donor. They understand, however, this is not just a donation to help families in need who are working to step forward in their lives, this is an investment in our community. These funds will support our housing programs and make a direct impact by saving our community costs that are often generated by chronically homeless and disabled individuals. With the help of Lakeside Wealth Management we are serving vulnerable residents with a successful model of supportive housing, positively restoring their dignity, and drastically strengthening Northwest Indiana."
