Calumet-Round-Table-Homo-NalediThe Calumet Roundtable will host a member of the upper limb team David J. Green, who will discuss his role in the recent discovery of a new species, Homo naledi, from the Rising Star Cave near Johannesburg, South Africa. The recent discovery made headline news around the globe due to its human linkage.

Green who has a doctorate in hominid paleobiology was a member of the upper limb team assembled by paleoanthropologist and explorer, Lee Berger. They examined and triangulated the fossil remains and had 30 days to examine all upper limb fossils found at the site by archeologist excavators.

In addition, Green will show a similar example of the nalidi scapula. The episode will air on Nov 26 at 5:30 a.m. on ION Television network.
