Hummel Leads the Boilermakers over Kentucky Wesleyan

Former VHS star Robbie Hummel scored 14 points and eight rebounds against Kentucky Wesleyan in a 74-52 victory at Mackey Arena.

With the game well in-hand, Hummel, who scored 12 points in 14 minutes in the first half alone, while the other Boiler starters did most of their damage in the first half, when Purdue got off to a 34-20 start. JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore scored eight and six points in the game, respectively.

The Boilers’ next game is their season opener against Cal State Northridge on November 13th at 6:00 CST.
