Ideas in Motion Media Job Fair: We Need Athletes to Join Our Team

We’re excited to announce that, on March 1, 2012 from nine until noon, the Ideas in Motion Media team will host our first ever Job Fair! Throughout 2012 we will be expanding rapidly, and we will need some bright, energetic (and slightly crazy) “Lifers” to help us in the office, out of the office, and throughout Northwest Indiana.

One caveat: we need the right people to join the team. Only high-energy, driven individuals need apply to work at Ideas in Motion Media.

Now, and in the next three to six months, we’ll be hiring positions including:

  • Sales position
  • Sales assistants
  • Editorial positions
  • Photographer/Videographer/Journalists
  • Web Development
  • Social Media Marketing

All positions start as entry-level opportunities as we learn if you’re the right fit for us (and vice versa). Most important to know: we’re looking for athletes. Athletes in the sense that you need to be an outgoing communicator, wired to run fast, and filling the role that is best for the team at any given moment on any given day.

The job fair will feature five stations set up around the Ideas in Motion Media office, with each applicant interviewing at each station about a specific part of the company. At each station, you’ll get a sense of what our sales people need from development applicants, or what our editorial team needs from our sales team. Everyone here works as a team, and so we interview as a team.
