IEDC Pipeline: 2014 Companies to Watch

iedcLately we've been talking about Indiana gaining recognition as one of the top states in the nation for business. It’s definitely news worth sharing, and as our reputation grows in the national consciousness, so does our ability to attract new jobs and investment to the Hoosier State. It’s an incredibly exciting time to see the effect of people outside the state starting to notice that we’re creating an environment in Indiana that works for business.

As we gain national attention beyond our borders, it’s paramount that we don’t lose track of the incredible opportunities we have inside the state as well. Promoting growth from within is just as important as looking for new opportunities outside the state. Making sure we recognize the potential of second-stage Indiana companies that are poised to take the next step in their development is crucial to building an even stronger Hoosier economy.

The 2014 Indiana Companies to Watch awards is an event centered directly around recognizing and encouraging Indiana second-stage companies to reach their full potential. You can nominate a company headquartered in Indiana with $750,000 to $100 million in revenue and between 6 to 150 employees. Companies that fit these qualifications are also encouraged to apply directly before April 16, 2014. Learn More.

This program is a fantastic example of just how much we value the promise of second-stage Hoosier companies for the future of our economy and yet another reason why Indiana is a state that works for business.
