The Indiana Gourd Society (IGS) will be holding a State Gourd Show to display the amazing things that can be done with a gourd! The show will be from March 27 - 29, 2009 at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds, 5117 S. Ironwood Rd., South Bend, IN 46614. Admission is $6 for the entire weekend, and the show is open to the public.
The show will feature a large gourd competition, vendoes, an IGS gourd store, gourd seeds, workshops, demonstrations, kids booth and an auction on Saturday and Sunday.
