Immanuel Lutheran School Receives Four Star Rating

Immanuel_Lutheran_School_Receives_Four_S-1---2016-05-25_15_59_05Immanuel Lutheran School announced today that it has earned a “Four Star” rating from the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). Only approximately 12% of Indiana schools received this honor. The IDOE bases the rating on several criteria, including ISTEP scores. Schools ranking in the top percentile in the state in each category earn the Four Star designation. Immanuel outscored all other Valparaiso schools on ISTEP results and is one of only a few elementary and the only middle school in Valparaiso to receive this rating.

“We are honored to receive recognition and awards such as this. However, Immanuel’s faculty, students and families are so much more than just a test score or Four Star status could hope to encompass. Each day, the Immanuel staff members help students grow and mature in ways that could never be fully measured,” Josh Bachman, Principal of Immanuel Lutheran School. Immanuel currently has an enrollment of 205 students in grades K-8.
