Indiana Chamber Member Spotlight: Northwest Indiana Forum

Valparaiso Indiana Northwest Indiana ForumFor 30 years, the Northwest Indiana Forum has been facilitating economic development in the northwest Indiana. The Forum is a private not-for-profit, membership organization dedicated to new and expanding opportunities, environmental affairs and public policy/advocacy for business and industry. The diversity of membership of the Forum from the steel and oil refining industry to educational institutions and non-profits exemplifies the collaborative effort of the private sector to increase the broad based wealth and improve the overall quality of life of the region.

The Forum represents Lake, Porter, LaPorte and Starke Counties and acts as a regional service provider, consultant and advocate for northwest Indiana. Forum staff provides an array of site selection services including tours, data services and cost comparisons for businesses searching to expand or relocate. Leveraging the power of many, the Forum works with elected officials to improve the business/tax climate. As the voice of business leadership, the Forum focuses on significant regional initiatives from infrastructure to environment attracting the next generation of industry to NWI.
