Lake Central (No. 8) and Bowman Academy (No.9) represented Northwest Indiana in the top 10 of the latest Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) poll released on Monday. The Indians sport a 14-3 overall record while the Eagles are at 15-3.
Munster (No. 16, 15-4) was the only other Northwest Indiana team cracking the top 20.
East Chicago Central, Hammond Bishop Noll, Lowell, Michigan City and Valparaiso were other Northwest Indiana teams receiving votes in the poll.
