Heavy rain and sidewalk construction sent a flood of water into the basement of 62 S. Valparaiso Street. This flooding was not unusual for this basement, a church home to Life Bridge Christian Church for the past 7 years, but as the water formed a pond in the worship center; it became clear that it was time to find a new place to worship. 
In the search for a place to hold temporary services, two opportunities arose.
1. Temporary services for three weeks at the Valparaiso American Legion.
2. Rent w/ Option on LaPorte Street (same price per sq. ft. as current facility)
The church members were allowed to view the property in person and via video and asked to pray over four questions about whether or not to move forward. The response was nearly unanimous. The church was ready to move!
Excited to worship in their new home, Life Bridge has spent this week moving from their old facility to their new home at 1705 LaPorte Avenue. Worship services will be held this weekend at the NEW facility.
Life Bridge invites everyone to check out the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, the casual, free coffee bar, and the down-to-earth, realistic teaching. Flood or no flood, Life Bridge will keep praising the Lord and hope you will join them this Sunday!
