The Indiana University Northwest Alumni Association has partnered with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive Thursday, July 8 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The drive will take place on campus at the Moraine Student Center.

Alumni, students, campus faculty and staff, as well as the greater community, are encouraged to donate. The IUN Alumni Association has set a goal of 30 units of blood for the summer drive. One blood donation may be used to help three people.

All donors will receive an American Red Cross stadium seat cushion and are entered into a drawing for a family four-pack for daily admission to Deep River Waterpark.

Appointments can be made at the Moraine Student Center Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 7 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., or by visiting redcrossblood.org and entering “IUN” as the sponsor code.

To be eligible to donate blood, donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health. All donors must bring a donor card or positive form of identification to the blood drive.
