IU Northwest Offers ‘Helping Small Businesses Develop Cost-Effective Marketing Communications’ Workshop on October 2

rot1Indiana University Northwest’s School of Business and Economics and the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) invite leaders of local small businesses to learn more about marketing communications at a free workshop, “Helping Small Businesses Develop Cost-Effective Marketing Communications,” from 12 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2 in the Dunes Medical/Professional Building, room 1156.

Professor of Marketing Subir Bandyopadhyay, Ph.D. will facilitate the program. Bandyopadhyay has vast experience marketing planning and strategy.

Objectives of the workshop are to:
Outline the challenges faced by small businesses in marketing their products and services.
Help attendees coordinate advertising, sales promotion, publicity, direct marketing and social media efforts for optimal outcomes.
Present an opportunity for hands-on, interactive exercises to help participants develop initial ideas.
