rot1Students participating in Indiana University Northwest’s 2015 Commencement ceremony should plan to attend Countdown to Commencement to order graduation apparel between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26 in the Anderson Library/Conference Center, 105ABC.

All IU campus graduates will be robed in custom-made black rental gowns. Associate’s and bachelor’s degree graduates will be able to keep the crimson satin “stole of remembrance” that is worn over the gown as well as the cap and tassel.

Staff members and volunteers will also be on hand to assist with gown orders and to answer any questions regarding Commencement.

The gown rental fee is $53.90 for bachelor’s and associate’s degree candidates and $75.63 for master’s degree candidates. Kiosks will be set up in the Library Conference Center during Countdown to Commencement for students to place orders by credit or debit card only. Orders can also be placed online at www.herffjones.com/iu until March 25, but after March 13, 11 p.m. CST, a $75 fee will be imposed for late orders.

A representative from Herff-Jones will be on hand to display other items available for order, including diploma frames, class rings, announcements and more. The 2015 IU Northwest Commencement will take place at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 14 at the Genesis Convention Center in Gary. Graduates must arrive by 2:30 p.m. Gowns must be returned following the ceremony at the Genesis Convention Center in the Indiana Room.
