 Ivy Tech Community College’s Valparaiso campus and Michigan City site is inviting the community to tour its newest labs during ribbon cuttings.

Valparaiso Campus Nursing Simulation Lab 

June 2 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm | 3100 Ivy Tech Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383

Michigan City Site Manufacturing Lab

June 3 from 4 pm to 5 pm | 3714 Franklin Street, Michigan City, IN 46360

Remarks will be made by Ivy Tech Community College President Sue Ellspermann, Ivy Tech Community College Valparaiso Campus Chancellor Aco Sikoski, Northwest Health Chief Executive Officer Ashley Dickinson, Economic Development Corporation Michigan City Executive Director Clarence Hulse, program deans and chairs as well as students.

The first half hour will include remarks. The last half hour will be guided tours of the spaces.

“We opened these spaces to our students in recent months and now we have the incredible opportunity to showcase them to the community. These state-of-the-art labs are ensuring our students have the tools and training they need to step into roles, providing employers with the prepared workforce they need. It’s a win-win we are proud to be part of,” Sikoski says.
