January Workshop Guides New QuickBooks Users

nwi-sbdcThe Northwest ISBDC and Anna Sheets of Accounting Made Simple are offering two upcoming sessions of the QuickBooks Essentials workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays Jan. 23 and 30 or Feb. 20 and 27 at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building, 600 Vale Park Road, in Room 20.

The two-part workshop for new users will detail core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills.

The class is appropriate for users of all Windows Versions of QuickBooks and the course material does not include references for QuickBooks Online Edition, QuickBooks Pro for Mac or Simple Start Software.

The fee per two-part session is $100. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required as there is limited seating. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up as well as a certificate upon completion.
