The season of giving is among us with Christmas just around the corner. What better way to give than donating toys to the Toys for Tots Drive. Kankakee Valley REMC is a drop off point for your toys this year. We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who helps in making sure that children in need don’t go without this holiday season.

When you make a donation to the Toys for Tots donation box in our business lobby we will give you a 75 Watt CFL. If you donate more than one toy we will give you a free Energy Efficiency Kit complete with a 60 watt CFL bulb, an LED night light and a package of electric outlet and switch sealers. This is our way of thanking you for your help in giving to those in need this holiday season.

Kankakee Valley REMC has a longing commitment to the community. The Toys for Tots drive is one of many ways that each of us can give a little back to the community and help those children in need this holiday season. Our cooperative wants to see our lobby Toys for Tots box overflow this season. You can help us in making this possible and bringing a smile to children’s faces this year,” stated Dennis Weiss, CEO of Kankakee Valley REMC.

You can drop off your toys at our office located on Hwy 30 in Wanatah, just east of Hwy 421 during our office hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Kankakee Valley REMC, located in Wanatah, Indiana is a member-owned rural electric cooperative serving approximately 18,000 members throughout Starke, Pulaski, Porter, Lake, Marshall, St. Joseph and LaPorte County.
