The 2nd annual Kent’s Run 5K was held on May 23, 2009. Over 600 runners from Indiana and surrounding states participated in this event. Kent Ribordy was a student-athlete from Boone Grove High School who passed away from leukemia in June of 2007.

There were 500 runners at the first race in 2008 and $18,000 was donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society last fall.

Kent’s parents and sister (Dan, Pam, and Kara) and student volunteers from race day will be in attendance for the check presentation.
