Key Club at Boone Grove Helps Train for Zombie-themed Run

Eden Priest is ValpoLife.com's #1StudentNWI representative at Boone Grove High School. This month, Eden wrote about the school's Key Club and their efforts to prepare all for the famed "zombie apocalypse."

Are you a zombie fanatic? Do you enjoy running? Boone Grove High School Key Club helped the community train for the zombie apocalypse! Zombie lovers from Northwest Indiana recently ran the spooky high school cross country course that was full of brain-hungry zombies.

All participants had to be careful because who knows when a zombie could jump out at you and chase you. But all who participated can now truly say they are ready for the scary zombie apocalypse.

It's not all about zombies for the BGHS Key Club, though. Did you know that November 3-7 is National Key Club week?

Everyday the Key Club put on a random act of Kindness and a spirit day. To start the week off, the student body and staff wore neon. Then, during every lunch period each student contributed to a "Tweet Wall." On a piece of paper everyone wrote something nice about a fellow student. The catch? It's anonymous. So every student was left to write as many positive tweets as they wanted. The Boone Grove High School Key Club is always ready to serve the community. starting with their school.
