Three-point baskets made by a Valparaiso University Men’s basketball team at home games will do more than add a number to the scoreboard.
Valparaiso University Men’s Crusaders basketball team is, once again, partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County to help make a difference in the lives of Club members through the “Nothing But Net” program. Each time the Crusaders score a three-point basket at home game during the 2013-2014 men’s basketball season, four local businesses will donate $20.00 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.

Each year, this community partnership helps Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County deliver high quality youth development programs and activities focused on academic success, good character and citizenship and healthy lifestyles to nearly 5,000 Club members. Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has Clubs located in Valparaiso, Portage, South Haven and Chesterton and operates the Kidstop before and after school child care sites located in nine elementary schools throughout Porter County.
