Kids Art Power For Pets

rosa-cohnRosa Cohn, a second-grade student at Thomas Jefferson Elementary, decided she wanted to do something to help animals. Her idea: raise money for Lakeshore PAWS by soliciting original artworks by children, displaying them in Blackbird Café, selling them at a special event, and donating the proceeds.

These animal pictures were drawn by Rosa’s TJE classmates and friends. On January 18, 2013 at 6pm, the children will be selling their art in exchange for donations to Lakeshore PAWS animal rescue organization. Lakeshore PAWS relies on donations to help fund foster housing and medical care for homeless dogs and cats until they are adopted into loving families.
