Lady Vikings Fall 51-40 in DAC Game Against Lake Central

The Valparaiso High School girls basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow start in their game against Lake Central, falling 51-40 to the Indians.

The Vikings were led by Grace Withrow’s 18 points in the contest, while Yasmin Caroillo contributed 10 rebounds for Valpo. Clarisse Fletcher filled the state sheet with six points, six rebounds, two assists, and a steal for VHS.

The Vikings will next travel to Portage High School to face off against the Indians in their next DAC battle. The varsity game is scheduled to start at 7:30pm, with the JV game at 6.
