The Valparaiso High School girls basketball team lost to one of the state’s top teams in Hamilton Southeastern 78-47.
The Vikings were unable to overcome a low start, surrendering 43 points in the first half while scoring 27. Valpo was led by Clarisse Fletcher’s 20 points while Grace Withrow added 12 points and five assists.
The Vikings next three games also come on the road, as they will travel to Lake Central on December 2, Highland on December 3, then Portage on December 9.
