This is it! Your “Last Chance for White Pants” for the season at a fun event sponsored by the Visiting Nurse Association of NWI.
This summer casual event (white pants are optional) will feature a gourmet dinner, open bar, live music featuring The Unit, and dancing, as well as the opportunity to bid on some special live and silent auction items. Last Chance for White Pants will be held at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City on Saturday, September 14th from 6 pm until 11pm. Proceeds from the event will support the completion of renovations and improvements at the Arthur B. and Ethel V. Horton VNA Hospice Center. Since opening in 2002, the VNA Hospice Center has provided compassionate comfort and care to nearly 6,000 patients and their families. “Over the last 17 years, we’ve seen some wear and tear at the hospice center. And we’ve also seen some changes inpatient and family needs,” says Last Chance for White Pants Chair and VNA Board Chairman Cindy Kaariainen Tougaw. “This is a great opportunity for those touched by hospice to support the VNA Hospice Center AND have a great time!”
