Last Dance for St. Paul Students

Written by Jane Scupham, principal

Last Friday a group of hardworking 7th grade mothers transformed the cafeteria into a beautiful dance hall for the annual 7th and 8th grade graduation dance. The theme for the dance’s decorations was inspired by Dr. Seuss’s book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go. Colorful streamers, balloons, a colorful parachute attached to the ceiling, and Seuss-like table decorations helped to set the mood. The professional DJ with disco lights blazing completed the atmosphere of fun. The eighth and seventh grade students arrived looking fantastic and so grown up! They were all ready to eat, laugh, and have one last bell dance for the year.

Thank you to the decorating team, the food committee, and all those who worked behind the scenes to create a very memorable evening for our graduating eighth graders.
