Links of the Week: 50 Cent, Unanswered ‘Lost’ Questions, and How Twitter Changed How I Watch Sports

I've been following the NBA Playoffs as closely as I can these days. With summer literally just around the corner, and moles converging the Million Mole March on my yard, I'm finding it harder and harder to A) watch the beginnings of the games since I'm outside and B) watch the endings of the games, because I'm apparently 85 and need to go to bed around 9:15 every night.

Twitter, though, has become a useful tool for me to follow a lot of the games. I've got the Ubertwitter application set up on my phone, so not only can I see scoring updates downloaded to my phone every 15 seconds, but I can get instant reaction from people whose opinions I like to hear from who are either at the game, covering the game, or watching the game.

I think the NBA Playoffs have done it for me-- I've officially come full circle on Twitter. I'm not much of a tweeter, but I will use the platform ahead of any other when it comes to getting my real-time information.

So, on the note that, the above paragraphs have made my nerdom official, here are the Links of the Week:

For all of you Lost fans out there suffering from withdrawal, here is a video that puts together ALL of the unanswered questions from the show's run. As someone who has never watched an episode, I think I can say that the show would confuse me a bit too much.

Sick of Bieber? There's an App for that!

It isn't necessarily a great sign for the summer television slate when one of the nation's top critics recommends on watching older, canceled shows as his "Things to Watch" this summer.

Last Friday, Google turned it's logo into a game of Pac-Man, celebrating the iconic game's anniversary. A software blog called Rescue Time, who offers a software tool to see how users spend their time online, checked in to how much time and money was wasted using their system. The result? Over $120 million dollars were wasted by people playing Pac-Man. I was only on it for three levels, though. I swear.

Those of you who haven't seen the new Nike World Cup ad are missing out. The three-minute commercial is visually very impressive.

There are lots of shows on television that display rich people's houses. There are also lots of people that talk about Tiger Woods. Tiger is rich too, so why not take a look at his new digs, which includes four connecting pools and an oxygen therapy room?

The funniest tag lines and posters from the movies at Cannes? Sure, why not.

50 Cent pulls a Bizarro DeNiro and loses 50 pounds to play a cancer patient in an upcoming movie... who knew?

I refuse to trust people that work for newspapers that say "Oh, the newspaper industry is fine! All of this is over blown!". Sort of like this piece, "Newspaper death watch about to expire" from Margaret Sullivan of the Wisconsin State Journal.

Rock Band 3 will have a keytar? No way!

And for your video of the week, an awesome acoustic version of Born to Run, by The Boss:
