Listen to your Mother on May 8!

Just in time for Mother's Day, Listen to your Mother, a series of live readings by local writers about motherhood, will take the stage at the Hobart Art Theater on Saturday, May 8 at 7 PM.

Beverages will be available for purchase by The Brickhouse Bar & Grille.

The show will take audience members on an emotional roller coaster of all the nuances of motherhood that will make you both laugh and cry!

This year's cast includes Producer Carrie Bedwell, Carri Ables, Marc Chase, Mary Lu Cowley, Patty Cowser, Jaimie El-Talabini, Bennett Gallivan, Melissa Huffman, Kelly McGuire, Melissa Sickinger, Valentine Torres, and Stephanie Trendowski. Hobart City Councilman Josh Huddleston will act as Master of Ceremony.

COVID measures will be strictly enforced for those who choose in-person attendance. These include wearing masks, staggered seating, and the availability of hand sanitizer.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite and options include:

VIP SEATING: $40-Seats at round tables in front of the stage. Four to a table. Includes a swag bag and event wine glass for each guest, a bottle of wine, and a small appetizer platter for the table, entry at 6 PM, and live music by the lovely Rhonda Janowski. Please purchase four tickets to ensure you are sitting by people you know due to COVID.

Celebrity Circle: $25-Theater seats in the first two MIDDLE rows and includes ONE swag bag per ticket, entry at 6 PM, and live music by the lovely Rhonda Janowski. seats available

General Admission: $20-Theater seats row 5-back of theater. Entry at 6:30 PM.

Virtual ticket:$15-Thanks to the generosity of the Times, we will have virtual tickets available. A link to the performance will be emailed to you prior to the performance.
