Vale Park Animal Hospital now offers a new free service for those whose pets are lost. Hound and Found allows families the opportunity to share information about their missing pet, including sharing a photo of the lost, in the effort to reunite families!
This site is completely free to use and is for everyone. It was developed after the terrific response we had from posting lost pets on social media outlets. Within hours, we had their owners located and it was amazing to see the support of everyone sharing the information via Facebook, www.valpolife.com and the Internet.
This prompted us to look to a more streamlined way to lend a hand to distressed owners when their pet goes missing. In a technical savvy society, hanging “Lost Pet Posters” does not get the same results as days past. Essentially, this lost and found pet amber alert system will be e-mailed to thousands of local subscribers.
The hospital will use your submission to share on the Vale Park Animal Hospital Facebook page, the email list, and other outreach modalities, as well as post it to the website.
