Deep River Waterpark, Lake County Park & Recreation’s new facility, opened on a rainy cold Friday, May 26th, 1995, but that was our last challenging day, the rest of the season went on to be record setting and the rest is history. Deep River has continued to be the USA’s second largest publicly owned waterpark and a Lake County Indiana jewel.
