Hello St Paul Families. I am writing to inform you of the newly established NWI chapter of the Make-a-Wish foundation. We are holding our first annual golf outing Friday, September 20th at the Valparaiso Country Club.

Make-A-Wish® of northwest Indiana grants the wishes of local children diagnosed with lifethreatening medical conditions. The funds we raise go directly towards granting the wishes of children in our own community. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic.

Please click on this link for a brochure donation/entry form for our golf outing. Even if you are not a golfer, please consider making a small donation towards the granting of a sick child’s wish. Please forward any questions and donations/entry forms to Nancy Huth c/o Sarah Huth 7R. Please contact me as well if you know of a child you would like to refer for a wish granting experience.
