Matt Murphy to Join Valpo’s Board of Works and Safety

Valparaiso-Vibrant-VisionaryValparaiso’s Economic Development Director, Matt Murphy, will become the newest member of the city’s Board of Works and Safety, announced Mayor Jon Costas. Murphy will replace Chuck Williams, who announced his resignation in June.

“Matt Murphy has a demonstrated interest in the future of our city. His expertise will be a valuable addition to the Board of Works and Safety,” said Costas. The Board of Public Works and Safety is a three-person board that oversees budgetary needs and requests for the Public Works divisions.
