Each year the term for one seat on the Valparaiso Community School Board expires on June 30th and comes up for renewal. One of the important duties of the Valparaiso City Council is to seek applications during the month of May from citizens who are interested in serving on the School Board.
Applications forms are available on-line or at the Clerk/Treasurer’s office at City Hall. Completed applications are due back to City Hall by May 31, 2012.
Up to five applicants will be selected for interviews to be conducted on Monday afternoons on June 11th with a second interview on June 25th. The City Council will finalize the selection on that date.
