Mayor’s Gold Cup Roadie Run 5K along Wolf Lake

Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation invite walkers and runners of all ages to compete in the Kathleen Pucalik Memorial 5K Roadie Run leading up to the 17th Annual Festival of the Lakes. New this year, the Gold Cup walk/run starts and ends at The Wolf Lake Pavilion on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. Early registration is $20 on or before July 2nd, and $25 after until race day. A free children’s race begins at 8:15 a.m. and children will receive a complimentary t-shirt.  Awards will be presented to the Overall top 3 Male and Female; Overall top 3 Male and Female Master winners; Top 3 awards in Athena (170 lbs.+) and Clydesdale (210 lbs.+) and Top 3 Male and Female finisher in each age division.  Age divisions are:  8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 and over.
