Dr. Lawson was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, where he was in private practice for many years. The oldest of 3 children, he helps care for his grandmother who is ill and in turn helped him financially during his undergraduate studies.
As the father of one active son, who is an honor student in middle school, and plays three different sports, Dr. Lawson spends as much of his free time as he can with his son. His hobbies include golf, fishing and travel.
