Memorial Elementary is having our annual Discovery Fair today. Students in all grades (K-5) are invited to submit a project of discovery. It can be in any subject and the students can share the project with friends and siblings.
Families are encouraged to work together. This year there are Science, Social Studies, Reading and Math projects. The topic is up to the students and whatever they are interested in. The students share their projects with a panel of judges and also with the other students in their classes.
There will be an Discovery Fair open house this evening so that parents may come and see all the great projects. All students earn a medal and a certificate. There were 68 entries in this years fair. The students are very enthusiastic about their projects and love to share what they have learned.
