Memorial Opera House proudly announces auditions for “A WONDERFUL LIFE” Book and Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and Music by Joe Raposo – Adapted from the Frank Capra film “It’s a Wonderful Life” 
The creators of Fiddler on the Roof – Sheldon Harnick and Joe Raposo – bring the classic film by Frank Capra to the stage in this musical adaptation. George Bailey – with the help of the angel Clarence - discovers that life really is wonderful because of the love and respect of his community and family.
Auditions will be held Sunday, September 26th and Monday, September 27th at 7pm. Auditions will be held at the Memorial Opera House, 104 W Indiana St., Valparaiso, Indiana.
We are looking for 25-30 men and women ages 16 and up. Please bring prepared sheet music in your key (16-32 bars, please) of a relevant musical theatre song that best showcases your vocal ability. You may be asked to sing a song from the show that we will teach you and or read from the show. “A WONDERFUL LIFE” will be directed by Matt and Carla Douglas, with musical direction by Jim Mollin, choreography by Amber Mills, scenic design by Zachary Gipson, and produced by Brian Schafer.
Performance Dates: Friday & Saturdays: December 2,4,10, 11, 17 & 18 at 8pm and Sundays: December 5, 12, & 19 at 2pm.
