Memorial Opera House Selected for Funding from Arts Midwest Touring Fund in 2016

MOH-Aint-Misbehavin-2016Memorial Opera House is thrilled to announce that they have been selected to receive funding from Arts Midwest Touring Fund.

Cleveland Freelance Players, made up of talents Trinidad Snider, Tina Denise, Caron Wykle, Warren Egypt Franklin, and Anthony Williams will present the classic Fats Waller Musical Ain’t Misbehavin’ on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th . A talk back with the actors and actresses will be presented after the Friday performance.

Arts Midwest Touring Fund engages people in meaningful experiences with the fine arts of dance, music, theater, and other performing arts forms. Inter-state touring and the engagement of professional artists is central to the work of Arts Midwest. Arts Midwest Touring fund is a program of Arts Midwest, generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions from the Crane Group and General Mills Foundation.

Other community events will include a Lunchtime Cabaret on Wednesday, August 3rd at 1:00pm with a theme “Women in MoTown” featuring Snider, Wykle and Stump.
