For the second year in a row, Miller Lite is helping area residents enjoy the Valparaiso Popcorn Festival by offering free bus service all day on Saturday, September 10 to encourage popcorn aficionados to celebrate responsibly and never drive drunk. The Miller Lite Free Rides program—offered in partnership with North Coast Distributing, V-Line and Valparaiso Community Festivals and Events—encourages safe, alternative transportation during this popular local event.
“We’re excited to offer the Valparaiso community a free, safe ride around town during this year’s Popcorn Festival,” said Cornell Boggs, MillerCoors Chief Responsibility and Ethics Officer and graduate of Valparaiso University and Law School. “At MillerCoors, we believe that with great beer, comes great responsibility and our goal during the festival is to raise awareness that drunk driving is completely preventable. The Miller Lite Free Rides provides a useful alternative mode of transportation for Festival attendees to get home safely.”
