Bella Grisafi spent a week with me recently being my assistant principal, a gift from her parents from Harvest Moon. Bella is a 7 year old first grader in Mrs. Czapla’s classroom. On her last day at work I took the opportunity to interview Bella about her experience. Here’s what Bella had to say about her temporary job:

What was the best thing about being assistant principal? “The best part was speaking on the loud speaker. I also liked talking to the big kids.”

What was the hardest part of the job? “Locking the doors at the beginning of the day. The key wasn’t always easy to use.”

If this was your real job what would you like to do? “ I would like to pass out papers into the mailboxes.”

Did you have a favorite classroom when we visited them? “I liked the science room best because I like science.”

If you could change one thing in the school what would it be? “I would make sure the big kids were always quiet because that kind of gets to me. And I would give a Fair Oaks Farm coupon to every kid.”

Thank you, Bella for a fine job as assistant!
