More Time to Provide Comments on 2040 Comprehensive Regional Plan Update, 2016-2019 Transportation Improvement Program, & Air Quality Conformity

nirpcThe Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission is extending the current public comment period for the update to the 2040 Comprehensive Regional Plan (CRP), as well as the 2016-2019 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Air Quality Conformity Analysis. Originally scheduled to end on April 10, 2015 it will now end on April 27, 2015. This extension is necessary due to issues encountered with the development of the air quality conformity analysis. In order to provide for the required thirty-day review period for the conformity finding, the comment period is extended. Comments will continue to be gathered on that document, as well as the update to NIRPC's 2040 CRP and the 2016-2019 TIP, which includes both highway and transit projects.
