Fall is upon us, and with that comes a host of new movies in theaters. While it’s a given that there will be plenty of horror movies for Halloween, we will also get a wide variety of movies ranging from superheroes to a sequel 35 years in the making. Below you’ll find the movies I’m most looking forward to this fall.
Blade Runner 2049
Taking place 30 years after the first Blade Runner, LAPD Officer K makes a new discovery that could send society into the depths of chaos. Ryan Gosling takes on the lead role in Blade Runner 2049 as K, who is searching for Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford).
Blade Runner 2049 comes to theaters on October 5th.
Darren Aronofsky is directing a new movie, and it looks interesting to say the least. A couple, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, are incessantly visited by unwanted guests who disturb their peaceful life.
Now in theaters.
Jackie Chan makes his return to the action genre as Quan in The Foreigner. Quan, a businessman with a mysterious past, pursues justice for his daughter who was killed in an act of terrorism.
The Foreigner comes to theaters on October 12th.
This time around, the god of thunder finds himself imprisoned on an alien planet where he is forced into the life of a gladiator. Meanwhile in Asgard, a new foe, Hela, is bringing about the destruction of his home. Thor must find a way off this planet and back to Asgard if he’s going to stop Ragnarok.
Thor: Ragnarok comes to theaters on November 3rd.
Murder on the Orient Express
Based on the Agatha Christie novel, a seemingly peaceful train ride is brought to a screeching halt when one of the passengers is murdered. Now, thirteen strangers are forced to solve the mystery to prevent a murderer from killing anyone else.
Murder on the Orient Express comes to theaters on November 10th.
