Mudathlon is a new breed of endurance events sweeping the nation that offer adventurous off-road runs that are uniquely challenging and focused on fun from start to finish. The Chicagoland Mudathlon event is 3 miles of off-road running featuring lots of mud, 20 fun obstacles, chip timing, and an outstanding post race party. Registration is now open at www.Mudathlon.com. Participants must be at least 14 years of age.
“Each of our events will feature challenging obstacles that the Mudathletes will encounter all along their trek such as challenging mud pits, cargo net climbs, 30ft slippery mud slopes, hopping hay bales, creek crossings, and a tunnel of terror,” said Big Mudder Jeff Graves. “The Mudathlon Series is all about having a Mucking Good Time. The run its self will be a blast then add in a wacky costume contest, crazy post race activities, some great food, beer, and a killer band and you have a can’t miss event.”
