Munster Theatre Company Presents Switching Principals

Switching-1The Munster Theatre Company of Munster High School is pleased to present its first production of the season, with the comedy, Switching Principals by Pat Cook. Produced by Larry and Carol Lynn Brechner, this full-length, student directed production will feature Munster High School senior, Ben Nichols as the show’s director, assisted by Steven Caraher and Morgan Papesh . The Novice production features the talents of over twenty new freshman and sophomore actors (or juniors or seniors who have never been on stage before).

School spirit has never been lower at Marvin Gardens High School, so when a new principal (Cesar Camacho) is scheduled to take over, everyone is hoping for change. What they get instead are con artists George (Rohan Chatterjee) and Madge (Claire LeMonnier). After causing a car wreck that injures the new principal, George and Madge run from the law by posing as the new principal and his secretary, respectively, in a case of stolen identity. Taking on their new roles, the criminals begin to doubletalk and dodge their way past a suspicious Vice-Principal (Allison Hemingway), a pushy school board member (Camille Jancosek) and her mousy husband (Billy McDunn), a nosey security guard (Vijai Dharla), an amiable school counselor (Ethan Courtney), an undercover FBI agent (Brianna Dittmer), plus overactive students, and many more manic people working in the school building. Fast lines and plot twists make this riotous rapid fire farce one you will love performing and one your audience will love watching.
