Brookdale Senior Living and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care are offering a support group for people who are caring for loved ones who have dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The group will discuss feelings of loss and grief, and the challenges of caregiving as the disease progresses.
This group will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 pm the second Tuesday of each month in the Sunroom at Sterling House of Valparaiso, 2601 Valparaiso St.
Grant Butler, Bereavement Services Manager, VITAS will be facilitating this group experience. Grant brings experience facilitating groups that provide a respectful, mutually supportive, learning environment. The purpose is to meet the needs of those gathered together each evening.
