New Community Immediate Care Center Offers Convenience

chs-stockCommunity Hospital is expanding access to healthcare services for local residents with the opening of Community Immediate Care Munster at 1946 45th Street, near the Munster-Highland border. The public is invited to tour the newly constructed building, meet the staff and enjoy door prizes and refreshments during an open house from 9 am to 12 pm, Saturday, January 26. The center opens for business on Monday, January 28.

“When illness strikes, access to quick care is important,” said Lou Molina, hospital CEO. “With the addition of this new immediate care center, residents will have access to the same high-quality services found across our entire healthcare system in a convenient location.”

Community Immediate Care Munster will provide walk-in healthcare services for minor illnesses and injuries from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday and 8 am to 4:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday. The location is also home to several Community Care Network, Inc. providers for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

A full array of advanced imaging services will be provided at this location by Northwestern Imaging including CT, MRI and x-ray.
