Joan Vith has joined Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana as Volunteer Manager. Vith brings 15 years experience in Human Resources to Meals on Wheels. She has been a volunteer at Meals on Wheels for the last year.
A native of Lake County, Vith has a degree in Health Care Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
Robert Long has joined Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana as Director of Development and Community Relations. Long has worked in a similar capacity at human services agencies in Indiana and Michigan.
He received a bachelors degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and a masters degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.
Established in 1977, Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana is a community based and volunteer driven non-for-profit agency. Meals on Wheels provides nutritious meals to the homebound elderly, ill, disabled, to congregate senior sites and to children in daycare centers throughout Lake County.
