New Pastor to be Installed at St. John’s United Church in Chesterton

New_Pastor_to_be_Installed_at_St__Johns-1Rev. Aaron Ban has joined the Chesterton community as the pastor of St. John's United Church. He received a B.A. in Religious Studies from Carleton College in Minnesota and his Master of Divinity at Eden Seminary in St. Louis. He comes to us from a church in the St. Louis area, where he helped revitalize the congregation and built a youth group in the community.

Pastor Aaron believes in God's steadfast love for all people, and that we all have great potential for relationship with God and with others.

Pastor Aaron lives in Chesterton with his wife Caroline and their two sons Emmanuel and Edward. The family has experienced a warm embrace from the community, and loves being close to the dunes.

St. John's United Church, 225 W. Lincoln Ave. in Chesterton, invites any and all to experience worship and fellowship. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15, and worship begins at 10:30 every week. Pastor Aaron will be installed on Sunday, March 13 during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. There will be a luncheon following the service, and all are invited to attend.
