New Primary Care Doctor in Michigan City Focused on Positive Encouragement for Good Health

Scott Gogulski, D.O., a new primary care doctor in Michigan City, comes from a family of healthcare providers. That exposure, plus his desire to help people, led him to a career in family medicine. Gogulski is accepting new patients at La Porte Physician Network Primary Care in the LifeWorks Building at 3777 N. Frontage Road, Michigan City.

“I enjoy helping people understand and learn about their conditions, while keeping them uplifted. Good health is fostered with positive encouragement, and I try to provide that through my own health experiences as well,” Gogulski said.

Gogulski obtained his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Union Hospital in Union, New Jersey, and is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He takes special interest in caring for patients with diabetes and high blood pressure, and welcomes patients across the family spectrum.

“Family medicine is on the front lines of helping guide patients toward healthy living, appropriate care, and necessary testing to resolve their issues. It’s the most worthwhile job I have ever had,” Gogulski said.

The LifeWorks building by La Porte Hospital in Michigan City is a comprehensive multi-specialty medical campus offering primary care, pediatric care, women’s care, ophthalmology care, cardiology care, CareExpress urgent care, lab, diagnostic imaging (X-ray), and wellness and rehabilitation (gym and physical/occupational/speech therapy) featuring the HydroWorx warm water therapy pool.
