New Programs Coming to the South Haven Public Library

The South Haven Public Library is offering new programs in August for the whole family!  

Genealogy Workshop This workshop is for people who want to learn how to trace their family history, as well as for those more experienced in genealogy who want to learn more about genealogy resources available at the library. Register at the library or by phone, 759-4474.

Meet and Chat with Jerry Davich Join us as author and Post-Tribune columnist, Jerry Davich, discusses his book Connections: everyone happens for a reason. Connections is a collection of real-life stories from Northwest Indiana and astonishing facts illustrating the importance of human connections and relationships in our lives. Through personal stories and eye-opening statistics, Jerry will explore his trademarked Laws of Connection, and how to become better aware of key connections in your life.  He will also answer questions about his job, his book and the art of writing. For more information, visit www.connectionsbook.com.

Introduction to Ghost Hunting Learn how to ghost hunt like the professionals! Taught by Paranormal Investigators with over 10 years experience in the field, the class will cover theories of ghost hunting, research, procedures, equipment and much more! 

Genealogy Workshop at the South Haven Library is currently scheduled for August 17, 2009. 

Meet and Chat with Jerry Davich at the South Haven Library will be held on Wednesday, August 26; 7-8:30pm.

Introduction to Ghost Hunting Class at the South Haven Library on Saturday, August 29; 1 - 4pm; 3 hours classroom, 1 hour of field experience, field experience will begin at 9pm.  Pre-registration at the library by August 24 is required, $8 material/supply fee payable upon registration.
