The REALLY Good News.... 
Mayor Jon Costas and his Charity Ball Committee had a wonderful event on October 1st celebrating Valparaiso's Non-Profit community. The Reilly Foundation thanks Mayor Costas and his team for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful event.
Thank you to Best Buy Children's Foundation and our local Best Buy here in Valparaiso for supporting our Porter County programs!!
Reilly Foundation has also celebrated the one year mark in their new donated office location at the Prudential Executive Real Estate office located 2612 N. Calumet, Valparaiso. Thank you Larry and his staff for allowing us to operate here so we can use our funds to focus on teaching our youth the very important lesson in which you display...giving!

Reilly's Philanthropy Boot Camp Program is open for registrations. We need you, our community needs you! High School students that attend Portage High and Valparaiso High can pick up a registration packet from their main office or guidance office and return to your school principal. Students who attend the Porter County Career Center may do the same.
Students must commit to attending once a week sessions held after school from October through April. Students will participate in interactive lessons with community business leaders in which they learn the giving process and how to help their community. Community field trips include a trip to the Mayor's Office, service activities at our own local non-profits, and meeting the Reilly Foundation Board of Directors. Students will also create and implement their own fundraiser while learning the grant process. Non-Profits in our community will receive help from our active volunteers as well as financial assistance all directed by our students through the grant process.
