NIPSCO Lineman Providing Relief to Hurricane Victims

NIPSCO-Relieft-Hurricane-SandyOn November 1st, 80 NIPSCO lineman and additional support staff departed in the early morning to assist with the Hurricane Sandy restoration efforts. The volunteers provide assistance to FirstEnergy, which serves several of the areas most impacted by the storm. At the peak, FirstEnergy had 2.2 million customers out of power.

The team has spent the last days in Cleveland, OH, assisting with restoration there. Now, the crew has moved east to New Jersey to continue in the repair efforts.
